The conception of elusive reality in T.W. Adorno's philosophy
This article concerns the conception of elusive reality in nonclassical philosophy. The phenomenon of elusive reality can be found in the works of A. Schopenhauer, F. Nietzsche, M. Heidegger and was scrutinized in critical theory of T.W. Adorno. The key concept in this theory is the notion of totality. German philosopher not only criticizes totality, but reveals its redundancy as well. Unlike Heidegger Adorno suggests pessimistic version of elusion from reality based on utopicity of total knowing. After all even in pessimistic scenario reality is tested as resistance.
